Satchel & Boot.We close the control gap.
A data-first consulting and execution firm.
The control gap is the distance between what is actually happening in your organisation and what leadership can see and act on in time. We close it. We do not just advise, we embed the data, analytics, and systems that make performance visible and measurable.
The Golden Thread
Related disciplines, distinct roles
Four disciplines run through everything we do. Together they close the control gap: clean data, structured measurement, a live operating picture, and spatial intelligence, working as one.
The disciplines overlap by design. GIS threads spatial intelligence through each.
DAaaS
Data Analytics as a Service
Establishes reliable, well-governed data foundations and analytical assets that convert raw inputs into decision-ready information.
* data pipelines (ETL/ELT), data quality and validation, modelling and storage, security and lineage.
BAaaS
Business Analytics as a Service
Aligns processes and performance to outcomes through structured measurement, analysis, and continuous improvement.
* process mapping and mining, KPI frameworks, variance analysis, scenario planning, benefits tracking.
BIaaS
Business Intelligence as a Service
Delivers a live operating picture: dashboards, alerts, and embedded insights, so decisions are timely, consistent, and actionable.
* executive and operational dashboards, governed self-service, anomaly detection and alerts, embedded analytics.
GIS
Geospatial Intelligence
Captures the spatial dimension of your operations in the field and wires it into every other discipline, so location becomes a live input to decisions.
* survey construction, field data capture and QA, operational map dashboards, spatial analysis, asset and network mapping, and integration to DA/BA/BI.
We do not admire problems. We solve them.
These four disciplines sit inside every service we offer. See our services
The case
Why this is the future of sustained success
The same disciplines, applied consistently, produce compounding returns. Here is why.
Compounding speed
clean data, clear KPIs, and live dashboards create faster feedback loops and quicker course-correction.
Fewer blind spots
issues are detected, explained, and assigned, so action follows insight.
Scale without chaos
teams, markets, and products can grow without breaking metrics or governance.
Visible proof
executives see progress in real time; operators see next actions, not just charts.
Tool-agnostic, value-native
we specialise in Microsoft (Power BI, Fabric, Azure) and integrate with Google/Looker, Tableau, and GIS, so the value outlives the tool.
AI that lands
everyone wants AI; few can embed it. We put it into the real operation, where it changes the work.
Ready to make this your operating advantage? Let's talk data and innovation
Technology Stack
We are agnostic by principle. No vendor, platform or model gets the work because of loyalty or habit. The best person, the best technology and the best solution win on merit, measured against your problem rather than our preferences. That is why our stack is broad: it lets us bring what fits, not what we are tied to.
Microsoft
- Power BI
- Fabric
- Power Apps
- Azure
- SQL Server
- Azure SQL
- Google Cloud
- BigQuery
- Looker
AI
- Claude
- ChatGPT
- Grok
- Perplexity
We choose the model that fits the task, and we name vendors rather than versions because the field moves quickly.
Engineering & collaboration
- GitHub
- Notion
Geospatial & open source
- Esri Survey123
- ArcGIS Dashboards
- PostgreSQL and PostGIS
- Open-source stacks
Where a tool is simply the right one for the job, we use it on merit. Tableau is one example on the analytics side.
Servers, databases and compute are not a separate allegiance. They live inside whichever ecosystem the work calls for, which is why you will find SQL Server and Azure SQL under Microsoft, BigQuery under Google, and PostgreSQL and PostGIS in the open-source column. For GIS we commonly use Esri Survey123 and ArcGIS Dashboards, and we integrate those datasets into your BI models and operational apps.
Industries
Where we deliver
We work where decisions carry weight and the data has to be right. The same four disciplines and the same services apply across very different sectors, shaped each time to the reality on the ground. Nothing here is sector-bound: the audit, analytics and delivery work that suits one sector regularly applies in another. Each sector below is one where we work or have worked, not a list of ambitions.
Energy & Utilities
Networks where a small completeness or metering gap quietly becomes a large revenue one, and where billing has to be defensible.
Healthcare
Provider networks and the analytics behind care and claims, where the numbers have to satisfy clinical and financial scrutiny at once.
Retail & QSR
Quick-service at national scale, where many sites have to resolve into one comparable, trustworthy operating picture.
Agriculture
Value chains and workforces where learning, inputs and assurance have to connect to real output on the ground.
Financial Services
Work where the evidence has to be defensible, from due diligence through to risk and compliance.
Public Sector
Smart Centres and integrated operations centres, PMO support and data-driven service delivery for public institutions.
Legal
Investigative and analytical support on complex, high-sensitivity matters, where findings have to withstand challenge.

LinkedInDo not let seven names mislead you. We are small by design and surgically cohesive, and we choose agility over headcount. The industries we work in are volatile and high-stakes, and a tight, senior core handles that better than a large one. This is that core team.
